one pair is done!

Here's looking at one finished Christmas present for the girls.
I really enjoy knitting socks!
It's kind of funny but I find them strangely satisfying.
It is also great that it is a small project, portable and easy to complete.
If you are thinking at knitting a pair and are nervous about working on dpn's (double pointed needles), don't be because they really aren't as hard as they look.

I tried knitting socks, but it drove me nuts. I think it was just very thin yarn and I'm not a huge fan of working with dpn for a whole project. I need to learn how to make 2 pairs at the same time on circular needles.

Your socks are beautiful!!!

I wore a pair of my handknit socks the other day and decided I should try another pair. They were really comfy. I love this yarn that you used. Your daughter will love them. check one item off your to do list! yeah for you!
