Feeding the Niece

So sometimes you need to take care of the ones you love, even when things might not exactly make sense or be perceived as healthy.

Things like feeding your niece chocolate.
Did I mention that chocolate was on toast?Oh, I should clarify that chocolate was for breakfast! And that since Niece was having chocolate, what kind of mother would I be to decline an opened jawed four-year-old? Really! Boo-Boo was certain she needed this breakfast too. It was like breakfast went to a whole new level for her. She mixed her chocolate with peanut butter.
At this point I did a double take and made sure I didn't just serve her a "Reese Peanut Butter Cup".
And since we mixed up our day with chocolate for breakfast, why not keep going?
When supper rolled around we fried up more than a pound of bacon! I believe Niece's quote was "bacon makes me happy!"But before you write me off totally we are capable of doing dinner in a normal fashion! Really! Here's a peek! Sometimes though it is fun to change it up just a bit.

What???? How unhealthy!!! NOT!! The niece has been known to ingest a pound of bacon on her own. It is her feel good meal. Beware....she needs to run a few miles today to wear off the piggy. As for the Hagelslag ....just a sweet confectionery for a sweet girl! Now...show us the pictures of you enjoying the sweet stuff...we know you love it!!

That's interesting, does the bread come like that in the box with the chocolate already on it? I could eat that for breakfast! Looks like your niece is enjoying her visit! Have a fun weekend!

chocolate for breakfast is perfectly acceptable if you are Dutch, or staying in a home where someone is of Dutch descent, or if you just like things that are Dutch, or...

Kee hee!

I would LOVE to have chocolate for breakfast...but...feeding sugar to active boys in the morning is just plain WRONG.

So - I'll pass (or maybe sneak away to my bedroom to indulge a little).

umm I will have you know that the chocolate in question(Hagelslag) is perfectly healthy to have for breakfast. Its even better with peanut butter. Should have seen the looks when I received this in the mail from Mom. People thought I was crazy. Hope you are having fun with the 'Little One'. I guess she isn't the little one there.
